Outdoor sports

There are many outdoor sports in the local area, we have selected a few that may be of interest to you.

Golf

There are numerous golf courses nearby. The closest being Antognolla less than 2kms from Alsagra. No membership is required and it is open all year. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr it has recently been renovated.

Perugia Golf Club www.golfclubperugia.it Proximity – 20 minutes drive, play possible at all times. 18 holes members’ course, Club and buggy hire available.

Lamborghini Country Club www.lamborghini.ccProximity: 30 minutes drive, play possible at all times.

Circolo di Golf www.abbadiagolf.com Proximity: within 1 hour drive 6 holes course and driving range, Club hire available.

Tennis

Off road Quad Biking

In nearby Caserino, Magione you can hire ‘Quad Bikes’ and be taken on guided drives through the incredible scenery of that area, going through any number of mud holes

'Activo' Park - Adventure park

The region’s first adventure park winds its way through a green pine-wood on the outskirts of Scheggino near Spoletto. This park, without a doubt, merits a day-trip to visit and join in the activities on offer. The location is ideal for both those who wish to enjoy the thrill of nature (under expert supervision) and for those who prefer to relish the invigorating yet tranquil scenery along the banks of the river. It is possible for both adults and children to try their hand (under supervision) at the following activities: Cable-walking Swinging logs Rope bridges Aerial ropeway Birds’-view footbridge and go karting. There is a restaurant and bars inside the park.

The park is open as follows for adventure activities :

From 21st March to 30th May every day (except Monday) from 10am to 18:30

From 31st May to 5th September every day from 9:30 to 19:30 and Saturday until midnight.

From 6th September to 1st November every day (except Monday) from 10am to 18:30
