Alsagra is close to the Tuscany, Umbrian border and is situated on a quiet rural hillside among 2 ½ acres of terraced olive groves, gardens and woodland. There are wonderful far reaching views towards Assisi, Magione and Perugia and is an ideal place for guests to relax.

This beautiful traditional Umbrian stone farmhouse has been carefully restored with original materials and transformed into three independent self catering holiday apartments comfortably furnished with everything you should need. Each apartment has its own patio with barbeque, chairs and loungers.

On one of the olive terraces there is a wonderful fenced and solar heated swimming pool.

The apartments are suitable for all ages, they are family and child friendly (designed with child safety in mind also with childrens equipment, toys, games available). There are two outdoor play areas with slides, swings and a train to keep youngsters amused.The apartments are ideal for families or couples.

There is lots of surrounding spaces to explore around the apartments whilst retaining plenty of privacy.

If you feel the need to check out the internet or work from your apartments, we have free wifi available.

Local riding nearby

Guests can relax in the tranquil surroundings of Alsagra knowing that all the major sights of Southern Tuscany and Umbria are in easy reach. Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno and Cortona are less than an hour away. Take a day trip on the train to Florence, Pisa and Rome and come back to relaxation and beauty. We have plenty of walks in the local area that you can access immediately from the apartments. These range from a hike up Monte Tezio national park to a stroll down our wooded lanes to the Etruscan Tomb. There are lots of activities in the surrounding area for families with chlidren or for the adventurous adults, see our links on the left. Our weekly Pizza evening (weather permitting) is where guests can get a chance to make their own Pizza from fresh dough and ingredients in our very own outdoor wood fired Pizza oven. Its a fun evening where you get to meet the other guests and enjoy the local wines.
